There is no greater pain than losing a child, but we rest in knowing that Chase is now at peace after losing his battle with severe clinical depression. Chase was intelligent, kind and loyal, with a brilliant sense of humour. He impacted people’s lives just by being himself. Chase was his happiest around animals, particularly his dalmatian Bokeh and cat Prince. Chase loved to build advanced lego creations, play video games with friends and was an avid reader. Chase will be sorely missed by his dad Kevin Bodell, mom Darla Kendel, step-mom Laura Kendel, younger sibling Ray Bodell, and grandparents, Bryan & Lil Bodell and Barb & Dale Kendel.
We are heartbroken by the loss of our boy, but in light of this tragedy, we wish to amplify the voices of those who struggle with Mental Health. In shedding light into the darkness, pain loses its power.
Open Memorial Service to be held April 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at The Clarke Foundation Theatre in Mission, BC.
