

Christopher Vang, 24, of Abbotsford, passed away September 12, 2011. He was born January 29, 1987, in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, the son of Phia and Yer Vang. He was the second youngest of six children. He attended W.J. Mouat Secondary and graduated in 2005.
He was currently enrolled at the University of the Fraser Valley for the completion of an automotive technician license.
Christopher was employed by Riverside Automotive Ltd. as a mechanic for the last six years.
His interests included photography, music, and spending time with family and friends. He devoted much of his time and energy towards enhancing, detailing, and rebuilding his cars (Honda Integra XSI).
He also enjoyed driving his cars along scenic routes.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Phia and Yer Vang; his brothers, Moua Xue, Mike, and John; his sisters, Nancy and Emily; sisters-in-law, Qhua Yaj, and Song Yang; and brother-in-law, Kago Lor. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Wa Xeng Vang and Kia Lee; his nieces and nephews, Zeb Pov, Ntxhuav, Yeej Koob, Paj Qab Zib, Jordan, Alana, and Jayden. He is also survived by his fiancée, Juana Nguyen; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
