Darlene was a much loved and devoted wife, mother, grandma, aunt and friend.
For those of us who had the pleasure of knowing Darlene, we each have our own special memory of her. Her passion for loving Alec was a true love story.
Her many talents in the kitchen with her endless bread making, her pies, baking and home cooked meals gave us all full tummies.
Darlene took much joy in planting her vegetable garden, sharing and canning it all. Her flowers were her pride and joy.
She had a love of reading a good book and then telling us all about it. Her poems and written short stories were a lifelong talent.
The countless embroidery stitches that produced us all with pillow cases, table cloths and Christmas wall hangings were a work of art.
Darlene was always excited when there was a simple or big celebration with family and friends and it was pure happiness for her being with her grandchildren.
She lived with joy, happiness, and love…….
Rest in Peace Mom
