Edward Osko

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Osko, 75, of Abbotsford, BC, on October 27, 2024, after a 10- year battle with cancer. Edward was born on July 30, 1949 in Lübeck, Germany, to Stanislaw and Genowefa (nee Ogorek) Osko.

Edward is survived by his wife, Madeleine Gravel, his daughter Natalia (Rob), his two grandchildren Genova and Emma, his siblings Mary (Leo), Barbara, and Peter (Donna), as well as nephews, nieces and their families. Ed was predeceased by his parents, his brother-in-law, Ed Paradowski, and his step-daughter, Andréanne Gravel.

He began his working life as a butcher, then went into food equipment sales and distribution, before moving on to starting his own successful business called Valley Personnel. Ed enjoyed travelling, gardening, music and so much more!

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 16, 2024 at 11 am at Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC. Friends are invited to join the family for a reception following the service. Afterwards, anyone wishing to attend the burial at Musselwhite Cemetery is welcome.
