Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Michel; his children: Vanessa (Brent Jackson), Colin (Catherine Crockett), Carla (Greg Giroux); his grandson, Matthew, and his father Kim; stepson Blair; and numerous nieces and nephews; many friends and professional colleagues. He is also survived by his four sisters: Sr. Louise, OSU, Sr. Denise, OSU, Lillian, and Anne (Joe Recio); his brother-in-law, John Teunissen (Evelyn), and sisters-in-law, Dolores (Joe), Janina (Harold), and Sylvia (Wil). Ed was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Aloysia Hinz; four sisters: Margaret (Joe), Agnes (Pat), Marie (Ray), Evelyn; and seven brothers (Lawrence, Harry, Wil, Con (Lucy), Joe, Rev. Leo, OSB, Albert (Isabel).
