Elinor Ann Williams Ridley

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Elinor Ann Ridley at the age of 67. Elinor was born in Melville, Saskatchewan. She was a long time and valued member of the Rotary Club of Langley Central where she played an important role as treasurer of the club. She was also a committee member and treasurer of Langley Has Talent, a subcommittee of Rotary. Elinor was the owner of Angel Safety Products and was an active member of the community of Fort Langley. Elinor is predeceased by her mother, Evelyn Williams. She is survived by her father, Rowland Williams, her daughter Marie (Allan) Buttree, son David (Jennifer) Ridley, and grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Nathan, and Meghan. She also leaves 6 siblings: Nancy (Ed) Boulet, Diane (Wayne) McKee, Debbie (Derek) Steinhaeusser, Dave (Denise Ward) Williams, Maureen (Brian) Gabriel, and Bob (Cheryl) Williams. Donations in memory of Elinor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, BC. A celebration of life service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd in Abbotsford at 3 p.m., Monday December 8th.
