It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Ernie Block, late of South Surrey, formerly a resident of Prince George. He passed into the presence of his Lord on Sunday, April 2, 2017 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Elfrieda, daughters Nadine and Alison, sons Stephen (Seraphina) and Andrew (Myra), grandsons Joshua, Graham, Matthew and Benjamin, sisters Erna Block and Dora (Frank) Friesen.
Ernie taught in School District 57 for 33 years, was active musically with both the church and community.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC. If desired, donations to The Vancouver Airport Chaplaincy www.canadahelp.org would be appreciated.
