Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great, great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2011 at the Abbotsford Cottage. She was predeceased by her husband Oswald Zurowski in 1984 who farmed in Sumas Praire.
She is the last of the 10 children in the Ast family. She will be greatly missed by her daughters: Shirley (Norm), Norma (Tom), Myrna (Ted), Dorothy (Tim), Cheryl (Brent) and her son: Charlie (Margaret), 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild Chloe, which made 5 generations.
A Graveside Service will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery, Abbotsford, BC at 11:00 am on Monday, February 21, 2011.
A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3845 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, BC.
The family wishes to thank all of the staff at The Cottage for the wonderful, loving care given to their mother.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, The Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
