Kyle Michael Smith

Kyle touched a lot of people's lives and he always enriched those lives . It was easy for Kyle to meet new people. When he was little it was common for Kyle to introduce himself to another little boy at a playground and become friends. He listened to what everyone had to say and could make anyone feel comfortable just talking with him. He always had time for people and was quick with a word of support or encouragement.

I remember a time recently when Kyle was carrying a plate of spaghetti to the table. He turned and the whole pile slid and fell on our cream color carpet "the noodles were wet", he explained as he scrubbed the mixture deeper with my best tea towel "blot don't scrub" was all I could say.

Kyle was smart and enjoyed reading. It wasn't uncommon for kyle to go through large thick books weekly that most of us would use as paper weights.When he was younger we would catch him up reading at 11:30 at night reading under the covers with his flashlight. I would always think how could I get mad at a kid who wants to read?

He also enjoyed the outdoors and being active. we went on family hikes and he enjoyed the fishing and camping trips with his grandparents. When we took our family vacation in Mexico, Kyle loved to be next to the ocean and outside in the sun. He also loved the all you can eat buffet and had at least one meal a day that was all steak. Martial arts played a large part in Kyle's life, he enjoyed Sung Hang Do for many years and had recently taken up Kick boxing/self defense.

Kyle wanted to change the world and after he passed Kyle continued to help save lives. We decided to donate Kyle's organs and we found out from some of his friends that he would have wanted that; He thought it was the right thing to do.I like the idea for selfish reasons, because a part of Kyle now lives on. Through this act, Kyle was able to save 7 lives and give hope to all their family and friends.

Kyle has now changed the events in the world and made a difference, as he always wanted to do. We will never forget him and always love him.
