Mary (Sonia) Chase passed away peacefully on August 22, 2019 at 11:57 pm at Abbotsford hospital. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario. Sonia married Frank Chase and had a daughter Dana. After travelling to Bermuda and Inuvik while Frank served in the Armed Forces they settled in Abbotsford, BC in 1980. She was a devoted wife and mother and a wonderful grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Dana Kayser and son in law Kurt Kayser, granddaughters Danika, Alise and Makenna Kayser, as well as sister in law Reta Hatfield. Sonia lived in the Menno Pavillion independently the last few years where she made many lovely friendships.
A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church, 33218 Marshall Road, Abbotsford.
