Romeo Babar Buyco

Papa was the third child and oldest son of Vivencio Buyco and Lucevita Babar & beloved "adopted" son of Concepcion "Nanay Ipyon" Buyco. He was born in Iloilo City, Phiilippines but grew up in Anilao, Philippines with his numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Mae Pilar. He is survived by the love of his life, Ramona, his three boys: Vivencio (Kerri), Vincent (Rogema), and Bernard (Grace), his daughter Janise (Richard), and his grandchildren: Meghann, Thomas & Vince Jude. Papa graduated from Central Luzon Agricultural College in the Philippines. Most of his life, he was a hardworking businessman, from Iloilo City, San Francisco to Abbotsford, to support his family. He always put his loved ones first and his dream was always to watch his children get settled in their lives. Papa was so proud of all his grandchildren and loved watching them grow up. He always encouraged his children to never fight, to always help each other and be close to one another. Papa will be remembered for his humor, his love for fishing, road trips and posing for pictures. His generosity always went above and beyond. Papa deeply loved his family and he was surrounded with their love and touch when he took his final breath. Always thinking of others, he is now preparing heaven for us all.
