

Rose Dickson Brennan, known lovingly to all as Dixie, passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on December 14, 1945 in Mission, British Columbia to Pat and Edith Reid. Dixie lived a life rich in love, laughter, and devotion to those she held dear, most recently calling Agassiz BC home.
Dixie was known for her sharp wit, her generous spirit, and her boundless love for family, she had a remarkable way of making everyone around her feel welcome and accepted. Her kindness was genuine, and her devotion to those she loved unwavering. Above all else, family was the center of Dixie's world, and she took great joy in watching it grow through the years.
Dixie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob Brennan; her mother, Edith Reid; her father, Pat Reid; and her brother, David Reid.
She is survived by her children, Rob and Cyndi Brennan, Ian and Deanna Brennan, Leigh Ho and Joe Beutle, and Willy Brennan. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Cristina and Dion Archie, Branae and James Neitsch, Rachel and Collin Wallace, Ayden Brennan, Callum Brennan and Jenna Phillips, Keegan Brennan, Camryn Brennan and Mathew Bingley, and Daniel Ho; as well as her great-grandchildren, Darby, Edy, Reese and Jaelle Archie; Peyton, Wyatt, Jordyn and Jaelynn Neitsch. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Dixie's faith in God was the foundation of her life. She carried that faith with grace and conviction, and it sustained her through every season. Her family takes comfort in the knowledge that she now rests peacefully in the arms of her Lord and Savior and is with her beloved husband once again.
The funeral will be on May 29, 2026, the burial will take place at 11:00 am at Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery in Abbotsford. A memorial service will follow at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Abbotsford from 12:00-1:00 pm, with refreshments served from 1:00-3:00 pm.
The pallbearers will be her grandsons Ayden, Callum, and Keegan Brennan, along with her grandsons by marriage, Dion Archie, James Neitsch, and Collin Wallace
