Don is first cousin to Sandy however through-out their lives they were more like siblings as they spent much of their earlier years in the same household. At age nine Sandy moved to British Columbia with her family where she has lived ever since.
There she met and married her husband Glenn and this year they celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Over time they were blessed with two wonderful sons. First Rick than Donald, she loved them both dearly. She was very proud of her sons. It was very easy to see that they were the apple of their mother’s eye.
We knew that they each shared the same love and admiration for their wonderful mom.
Our world was a better place because Sandy was in it. She was one of the most thoughtful, generous, caring persons we all have ever known. She was a faithful wife to Glenn, a wonderful mother to her sons and many others as well.
Thank you Sandy our dear loved one for all of the wonderful memories you have given us through-out the years. We will miss our phone conversations, our visits, we will miss you.
We have hoped and prayed with many other loved ones that our window of time would have stayed open longer however this wasn’t to be.
Some people come and go but you have come into our lives and left your footprints all over our hearts. The Psalmist David wrote;
“My days are like an evening shadow that stretched out and declines with the sun and I am withered like grass but you O’Lord are enthroned forever, and the fame of your name endures to all generations.”
In closing we would like to share a familiar quote from Winnie the Pooh;
“If there ever comes a time when we can’t be together we will keep you in our hearts- you will stay there forever.”
