Wes was born in Hepburn, SK and moved to Clearbrook when he was 5 years old.
He is survived by his loving wife, Luella, daughter Wendy (Dale) Richter, son Wes (Rietta), grandchildren Jordan (Ashley), Julie, Michael, Benjamin and Molly, great-grandchildren Kacey and Chloe, and three brothers Henry, Gerald, Wayne and sister Sharon.
He is predeceased by his parents Clarence and Maria Friesen.
A viewing will be held Sunday, August 19, 7-9 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 20, 11 am at Emmanuel Mennonite Church 3471 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MCC and Christine Morrison Hospice.
