Anglea Renee Pollard

Anglea Renee Pollard Blackshear, 41, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at a local medical center. Funeral services will be 1:00p.m., Saturday, December 3rd, 2011, at the Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 N. 2nd St., with Barbara Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Abilene City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8p.m. at the funeral home.

Anglea was born August 10, 1970, to Jimmy Pollard and Helen Lee in Bakersfield, California. She loved listening to music, loved to eat, and loved spending time with her family; especially her nieces, nephews, and little cousins. Before she became ill, she worked at Schlotzsky's.

Anglea was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Pollard and Helen Lee.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Blackshear; two sisters, Sharon Bell and husband, Michael and Janice Hicks of Abilene; two brothers, David Pollard and Larry Knox of Abilene; nieces, Breahna and Kieahna Thompson, Natashia Hicks, Candice Lee, Takiya Lee, and Erika Pollard; nephew, Byron Thompson; two aunts and three uncles; numerous cousins and countless friends.
