Anselmo Camacho Jr.

Anselmo Camacho, Jr., 72, of Abilene went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at St. Vincent Catholic Church. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 6pm with Rosary at 7pm on Thursday evening at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.

He was born on October 2, 1945 in Michigan. He met and married his wife, Anita Esparza Camacho on April 14, 1972. He worked for the City of Abilene from 1971 until his retirement in 1998.

Anselmo was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Manuel, Maximino and Jorge Camacho.

Survivors include wife, Anita; sons, Edward Camacho of Lubbock and John Ibarra of Findley Ohio; daughters, America Camacho Rodriguez and husband Elias of Abilene and Esmeralda Poe of Findley Ohio; brother, Joe Camacho and wife Ermina of Haskell; sister, Alicia Chavez of Haskell; grandchildren, Nicola, Christina, Alyssa, Amery, Eli Jr., Josh, Whitley, Gabriel and David.
