

Betty was born in Egypt, Georgia on March 30, 1941 to the late James A. Brower and Maggie Lee Bryant.
Betty worked as a cashier for 20 years at Country Market in Ellabell, GA. After finishing her working career, she moved around to be with her family. She initially moved to Abilene, Texas to live with her daughter, Teresa, and then back to Ellabell with her daughter Donna and family then with her daughter Rita and family. Finally, in 2014 she returned to Abilene where she resided until her passing. Betty played softball for many years and was a great pitcher. She also enjoyed playing BINGO, the lottery, and games on Facebook. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She will be remembered as a strong woman, and devoted to family. Her legacy will live on in all the many precious memories she created with her family throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, William F. Hendry and Gregory K. Hendry; two brothers, James Brower and Donald Brower, Sr.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, her daughters, Teresa Rahn of Clyde, TX, Donna Manuszak of Clyde, Texas, and Rita Hendry of Ellabell, GA; 5 grandchildren, Alan Manuszak, Geoffrey Rahn, Nicholas Canevit, Jacob Hendry, and Dalton Roddy; one great-grandson, James Manuszak; her last surviving siblings, Marion Brower; two nephews, Donald Brower, Jr. and Tony Brower; many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
