Bobby was born September 30, 1952 in Groom, TX to Leslie and Ruth Talbert. After graduating from Abilene High School in 1971, Bob attended Texas Tech University and Sam Houston State University. Bob worked for several oil drilling companies, construction jobs and as an automotive mechanic. Photography and music were some of his interests.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Talbert. He is survived by his father, Leslie Talbert of Abilene, his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Mickey Wheeler of Irving, TX, and his nephew and family, David, Tina, Lauren, and Ellie Wheeler of Flower Mound, and several cousins.
