Christina Louise New

Christina Louise New, age 50, of Euless, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Christina, lovingly known as “Christy” to her family and friends, was born February 26, 1971. She was a graduate of Hawley High School and spent much of her young adult life in the Hawley and Abilene area before taking a permanent residence in Euless, Tx. She was the kindest and gentlest of souls. Often referred to as bubbly, Christy’s light personality could lift anyone’s spirits. She never knew a stranger and never passed up an opportunity to help someone in need. In her free time Christy loved to thrift, care for animals, and spend time with loved ones. She loved her family and children very much and was loved by all who came to know her.

Christy is survived by her partner of 8 years Gary Williams and two children; son Christopher Placker, his wife Olivia and children Emma and Onyx, and daughter Britney George. As well as; Father David George Sr, brother Eric George and wife Jolene George, sister-in-law Liana George, and nieces Amanda George, Courtney George, and Megan George. Also, many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Christy was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Ann George, and brothers Micheal Allen George and David George Jr.

Visitation will be Tuesday September 14th, 2021 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home (5701 US Hwy 277 South Abilene, Tx) from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 15th, 2021 at Hawley Cemetery in Hawley, TX.
