Christine Montell

Christine “Dino” Montell, 87 years young, of Irving, TX went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 26, 2013 of natural causes. Dino went to sleep in her daughter’s home and woke up in the arms of Jesus.

Graveside services will be 2:00p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Elmwood Memorial Park with Pastor Loyd Thurman of Victory Assembly of God, Lufkin, TX officiating under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South, Abilene. A viewing for family only will be at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30p.m., Thursday prior to the graveside services.

Christine was born on September 22, 1925 in Pine Bluff, AR to Wayne and Nellie Sanders Mayberry. She moved to Abilene from Pine Bluff in 1931 and graduated from Abilene High School in 1943. She worked as traffic manager at KTXS TV for 12 years and was also employed for several years at her grandson’s business – Circle D Truck Sales in Abilene, TX.

She enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Christine fellowshipped weekly in Bible Study with Pastors Larry & Orlano Randall of Joshua Ministries, Inc., Irving, TX.

Dino is survived by her daughter, Orlano Randall of Irving, TX; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Victory Assembly of God of Lufkin, TX. The family of Christine “Dino” Montell express their thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His grace and mercy in her salvation, her life, and her passing.
