Clifford Townsend Collins Jr.

Clifford Townsend Collins, Jr., 46, passed away at his home after a long illness on Sunday, July 8, 2012 with family at his side. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.

Clifford was born May 9, 1966 and graduated high school from Merkel High in 1984.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mary Agnes Collins.

Survivors include three daughters, Vanessa and Ashley Collins of Waco, TX and Samantha Fitzsimmons of Tye, TX; two brothers, William Collins of Hawley and Dallas Collins of Oklahoma; two sisters, M. Victoria Isner of Tennessee and Sherry Vinson of Merkel, TX; two grandchildren, Christian Baker and Jayleigh Walters of Tye, TX; several nieces and nephews; and lots of loving friends.

The family would like to thank Beyond Faith Home Health Care for all their loving care and also thanks to Dr. James Pupura and Dr. Gary Heath.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
