David Aaron Mills Jr.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory. Burial will follow in Abilene City Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

On September 17th 1991, a beautiful 7 lb 2 oz male was born to David A. Mills and Donna G. Mills. He matriculated through Wylie/Cooper Elementary and High Schools. Throughout his young years, he ventured on many paths. Before his untimely death, he was preparing himself to receive his High School Diploma. His main interests were sports, but was most passionate about football. David excelled in football wherever he participated. Take note of the many snap shots. After many job opportunities, his last place of employment was at Tele-performance where he was promoted for his excellent performance after a short time. All that knew David well learned that he was very loving, caring and showed it in many ways, which lead him to being a father figure to Maleyah after forming a close relationship with her mother Paige Pierce. David had only one sibling and best friend Reyna Nykole Mills. Their family of four was made even closer with the new addition of Alieyanna; David’s spirit will live through his niece and the memories they will share will last a lifetime.

David had a jovial personality that made him one of a kind. His smile, his love for music, his jokes and sporadic dancing made him all the more unique. Not forgetting how he could charm you with his captivating eyes. These things and more define "OUR LITTLE DAVID", who will be immensely missed by his Mom and Dad (David and Donna); sister (Reyna); niece (Alieyanna); relatives, Debra Chaney Aguerro and family and Robert Dwayne McGough and family; aunts; uncles; cousins; friends of one who is special (Paige Pierce); one grandmother and one grandfather who are still living (Leigh Morris Edmond and Bennie Mills); and one grandmother and one grandfather who preceded him in death (Brenda Nelson and Vincent Mills).
