Elizabeth Deffenbaugh

Elizabeth Hilton, age 93, born July 1, 1917, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother moved from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Friday April 15, 2011 surrounded by her family in Abilene, Texas. Visitation was held Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 9:00a.m.

She is preceded in death by her parents Amasa Mason Hilton and Crescencia Trevino Hilton; sister Rosa Capistran Hilton; brothers Raul Hilton and Enrique Elias Hilton.

Elizabeth leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memories, including her daughters Norma G. Garza (David) from Papaaloa, Hawaii; Gloria G. Montes (Jose Ines) from Harlingen, TX; Elsie G. Chapa (Heriberto) from San Benito, Texas; Isis Weiand of Abilene; Yvette Clark (Cliff) of Red Oak, Texas; sons Oscar E. Guajardo Jr. (Carmen) of Ennis, Texas and Clef Minton (Imelda) of Abilene; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sisters Minerva, Sarah, Alicia, and a brother Amasa M. Hilton.

Cremation will follow under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd. Abilene, TX.
