Evelyn V. Dennison

Evelyn was born March 21, 1914 to Joseph and Mary (Just) Klima in Urbana, Benton County, Iowa. She graduated from Central Point High School in 1932. On June 27, 1939, she married Vernon Dale Dennison In Independence, Iowa. Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church, Center Point, Iowa where she lived most of her life. The past five years were spent in Abilene, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; her parents; and one brother, Raymond Klima.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl (Jack) Cress of Abilene, Texas; a son, Terry (Linda) Dennison of Conrad, Iowa; four grandchildren, Travis (Heather) Cress, Kyle (Tiffany) Cress, Megan (Jon) Barrett, and Nikki (Ross) Hartwig; and ten great-grandchildren.

Evelyn loved being a grandma; bird watching; working crossword puzzles; playing Solitaire; and making crafts. She was an excellent cook.
