Gail Martinez

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2010, at the Abilene Civic Center with Joel Toby officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. The family will receive friends at a visitation 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Gail was born November 15, 1957 to Rose Marie (Walker) and Coleman Lee Mayhall in Abilene, Texas. She married Paul Martinez. Gail worked for the City of Abilene as a custodial service manager for 27 years. She was a loving wife and a loving mother. Gail was a member of Elmwood Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Martinez of Abilene; a daughter, Angel Martinez of Abilene; a brother, Curtis Mayhall and wife, Cyndi, of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Becky Windham and husband, Al, of Abilene; and several nieces and nephews.
