Harriet Hope Culpepper

Harriet Culpepper, age 80, passed away February 26, 2016 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Dallas, Texas to the late Cleve and Willard (Grant) Culpepper. Harriet graduated from Highland Park High School in 1953 and then attended Abilene Christian College (ACU) the University of Colorado and in 1958 she graduated from Texas Women’s University in Denton. She was a lifetime member of Women for Abilene Christian University, Alpha Kappa Delta and Sigma Tau Delta. She had been a member of Oldham Lane Church of Christ.

Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Willard Culpepper; sister, Nancy Hill; and niece, Kathy Houston. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Jack Hill; nephews, Gary Hill and wife Holley and Larry Hill and wife Billie all of Abilene; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
