Helen Jeanette Mann

Helen was born on April 23, 1923 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Eleanor and Stanley Carroll. She was a military wife and lived in over 10 states as well as France and the Virgin Islands. Helen loved to travel. She was a wonderful mother to her son and two daughters. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren,

and great-great grandchildren affectionately referred to her as Nannie. She was a kind and gentle woman who loved her Coca-Cola and sweets.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Paul and C.L. Carroll; her sister, Geraldine Stoversand; her son, Carl "Bull" Mann; and her daughter, Judy Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Carole Ann Norton of Abilene; her daughter-in-law, Mary Mann of North Carolina; her son-in-law, Raymond Johnson of North Carolina; six grandchildren, William Norton of Louisiana, Stacy Hammack of Abilene, Carla Nolan of Utah, Raye Lynn Taylor, Tracy Mann and Aaron Mann of North Carolina; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A private service was held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 1:00 in Buffalo Gap Cemetery.
