James L. Shepard

James Lee Shepard, age 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. James was born in Breckenridge, TX and grew up in Brownwood and later Abilene. He was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church. Every Sunday he opened the church and made coffee - something he loved very much. James loved remote control cars and riding four wheelers. Preceding James in death was his step-father, Clarence O'Hern; father, Vernon Shepard; sister, Tammy Corsello and nephew, Christopher O'Hern. Survivors include his loving mother, Vera O'Hern; brothers, Travis Shepard, Charles Shepard and Stephen Shepard; sisters, Carolyn Gains, Connie Hargus, Elizabeth O'Hern, Sarah Shepard and Vicky Early; and numerous nieces and nephews.
