James Arlin Snow

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Don LaBaume, Monty Jones, Gene Mitchell, Bobby Lambert, Gaylon Shook, and Vernon Willingham. The family will receive friends at a visitation 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

James was born August 11, 1942 to James Arlin Snow, Sr. and Louella Woodell Snow in Lubbock, Texas. He married Shirley Pentecost on September 21, 2001. James retired from LockheedMartin after working there for 30 years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Linda Snow; brothers, Johnny Snow, Kenneth Snow, and Ray Timmons; and a sister, Rosanna Staples Potter.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Snow of Abilene; two sons, Kyle & Jeff Snow; a brother, Joe Snow; and sisters, Betty Stetler, Mary Snow, Ruth Cruce, Judy Moody, Frances Waggner, Peggy Cahill, Margie Jimenez, and Martha Aldridge; and grandchildren, Nikki, Lindsee, and Brittany Snow.
