

Jeanne Monk Wright, 81, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012, at her residence. Memorial services will be 2:00p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Cowboy Church in Clyde, TX, under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South.
She was born on October 16, 1930 to Harvey and Allene Mulloy Monk in Abilene, TX.
Jeanne became the first woman bank officer at City National Bank in Austin, TX. She was also a top ranking bridge player in the big country and Corpus Christi. She followed her husband around the country in the Ready Mix Business before coming full circle back to Abilene, retiring in 1991.
Jeanne loved her children and her other great joy was reading books and novels. She attended Cowboy Heritage Church.
Preceding her in death were her second husband, J. Larry Wright; and her son, Ricky Wright.
Survivors include her first husband, Louis Leon Tisdale, Jr. of Ft. McKavett, TX; her sons, Larry Wright and wife, Gwynne of McQueeney, TX, Steve Tisdale and wife, Christina of Abilene, and Randy Wright and wife, Denise of Cedar Park, TX; nephew, David Monk; niece, Tracy Monk; brother, Sherman Monk and wife, Anita of San Angelo, TX; daughter-in-law, Leslee Wright of Austin; grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Kristal Cohle, Weslee Wright, and Rachael Wright; and one great-grandchild, Lillian Cohle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 301 S. Pioneer Dr., Ste. 105, Abilene, TX 79605.
