Loreta Campbell

Loreta Parks Campbell, 97, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Abilene, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery with John R. Fanning officiating under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South.

Loreta was born in Lee County, Texas on October 23, 1917. She married Lee Roy Campbell on February 14, 1937 and they were married for 57 years prior to his passing in December of 1994. One son, Frankie Lee Campbell also preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Donald R. Campbell and wife, Jackie; and a daughter, Betty Pauley and husband, Dewayne all of Abilene. Also surviving is a brother, Charlie Parks and wife, Ludy; as well as numerous grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

Loreta was a member of First Baptist Church, Abilene for the past 67 years. Prior to her retirement from Coca Cola, she had worked for Mack Eplen Cafeteria on Pine Street.
