Services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 5701 US Highway 277 S. in Abilene with Dr. Jeff Reid officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery with her husband.
Marilyn was born in Central Lakes, Michigan on August 15, 1930, and attended school in Ellsworth, Michigan. She was the daughter of Bessie and Andrew Fredricks. On November 29, 1963, she married Robert Wilson Hosmer.
Marilyn enjoyed many years of bowling. She loved to knit- surprising family members with beautiful afghans- and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed her weekly pizza night with Sheri and the girls.
She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Marvin and Bernie Fredricks; one sister, Edna Sessions; one granddaughter, Robin Callejo and one son-in-law, Patrick Kelly.
Survivors include three sons, Dale J. Dozeman, Charles A. Dozeman, and Randall W. Dozeman; two daughters, Wanda M. Panciera and Sheri K. Kelly; three brothers, Gerald Fredricks, Ray Fredricks and Donald Fredricks; one sister, Lillian Vandyke; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
