Melvin C. Prince Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin C Prince Jr. on November 19, 2024, at the age of 69. Melvin C Prince Jr. was born on February 21, 1955 to the parents of Melvin C Prince Sr. and Corine S. Prince in Abilene, Texas. After Melvin graduated from Abilene High School in 1973, he went on to obtain certifications at a vocational school majoring in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration. Melvin continued his education with further studies at Drums Business College.

Shortly after graduating Melvin began his professional career in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration as a field technician for West Texas Utilities and later in his career at Hendricks Medical Center.

In his free time Melvin enjoyed watching western movies and playing pool. Most people recognized him throughout the city driving his brown 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix that he took pride in. As an uncle he enjoyed the company of his two nephews Darrin and Jeremy.

Melvin C Prince Jr. was predeceased by his parents, Melvin C. Prince Sr. and Corine S. Prince. He is survived by one sister, Mildred Williams, and brother in-law (Dwayne) of Abilene, Texas. Two Nephews, Darrin Williams of Lewisville, Texas and Jeremy Williams, and wife ( Xaviera, and son Aron Brown) of Houston, Texas. A special brother Raymond Stubblefield and wife (Shirley) of Desoto Texas. A special sister Karen Spaar and son (Noel) of Abilene, Texas. Two aunts Calversie Patton of Cuney, Texas and Anna Pearl Ashley of Amarillo, Texas; along with a host of cousins and extended family members.
