

Michael Dean Frazier passed away Tuesday August 24, 2010 at Hendrick Medical Center. Michael was born in bliss December 15, 1952 in Dalhart, Texas to the late Ozias and Ruby Frazier. The family later moved to Abilene, Texas where Mike attended Abilene schools and graduated from Abilene High. He served four years in the United States Navy and spent time in Florida and Corpus Christi, Texas before returning home to Abilene, Texas. Michael was a “Gamer” who spent many hours playing dominos, pool, shuffle board or scat as he was quite the competitor and loved the time with his friends. He loved watching, traveling, and supporting his nieces and nephew play soccer, APAC, band, or whatever the event may be. He was called "Uncle Mike" by all who knew him. Most of all, Mike was full of life, loved his family, and enjoyed having a good time. He will be missed by all his family and friends who loved him.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Ozias Frazier and mother Ruby Cash Frazier; his sister Billie Maureen Frazier; brothers Robert Earl Frazier, Homer Kenneth Frazier, and Richard Allen Frazier; and his grandparents, Wilburn and Mabel Cash and Robert and Martha Frazier.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Rochelle Frazier Jordan of Winter Springs, Florida; brothers, Gordon Frazier and wife Norma of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronald Frazier of Amarillo, TX, Raymond Frazier of Abilene TX, and Larry Frazier of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Geri Johnston-Jones of Abilene, Texas and Desirie Ries and husband Allen of Abilene, Texas; inspired nieces and nephews, Jae Lindsay Johnston, Breanna Ries, Kaitlin Ries, Alyssa Ries and Houston Ries all of Abilene, TX, Melinda Stewart of Gladewater, TX, Zachariah Frazier of Albuquerque, NM, and many more that loved him dearly.
A memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 27 in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 7457 West Lake Road, Abilene, with Pastor O.W. Wilson of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to the Disabled Veterans of America or Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory, Abilene, TX 79601.
