

Millie Edins, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Millie was born in Paducah, Texas to the late Malcolm and Blanch (Tapper) Mason. Millie was a very fun-loving person that loved to laugh and cut-up. She enjoyed being around her family and friends for any occasion. She worked at the United Supermarket on South 14th for 6+ years as the "demo lady". Millie was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church.
Preceding Millie in death were her parents; her loving husband, Joe Edins; brothers, Malcolm, Melvin and Morris and son-in-law, Ralph Dickens. Survivors include her daughter, Mona Dickens of San Antonio, TX; sons, Don Edins and wife Lana of Ovalo, TX and Tim Edins and wife Joan of Hamilton, TX; grandchildren, Robert Lee Dickens and wife Susan, Sean Edins and wife Crystal, Jeremy Edins, Cade Foster, and Kaley Garner and husband Austin; numerous great grandchildren and relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Parker officiating. Burial following at Elmwood Memorial Park.
