Milton “Jack” Curtis Rogers passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 14, at 100 years old.
Milton was born on August 1, 1920 in Wellington, Kansas to Martin and Katie Jane (Baker) Rogers. He retired early as a Major in the Air Force, and fought in WWII. He was stationed in many places worldwide as often as he was stationed near his family in Sacramento, California.
While home, he was a wonderful, fun, caring, giving father and had many friends all his life who adored him. He will be greatly missed by all. Rest well, dad.
He will be buried at the Veteran's Cemetery in Abilene, Texas, and funeral services will be held there at a later date pending further notice.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Kinder Hearts Hospice and Visiting Angels for loving, kind and compassionate care they gave to Jack during his illness.
