She was born on April 7, 1939 in Gorgan, Persia to Alexei and Tanya Muraviov who were Russian Immigrants. In 1949 the family migrated to the United States where they eventually made Los Angeles home. She worked as a beautician for nearly 61 years. She began her career in California and after relocating to Abilene to be near family she continued. Retiring at the age of 80. Nadya loved exploring and going on adventures. She had a beautiful smile and was always ready to listen to people. She loved the Lord with all her heart and is now resting in Jesus until the trumpet sounds.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alexei Muraviov; mother, Tanya Muraviov; brothers, Bill Muraviov, Pete Muraviov, John Muraviov, Mike Muraviov, Alex Muraviov; her sisters, Mary Robertson and Judy Baradin and grandson, Patrick Casey.
She is survived by her daughter Valia (Carl) Casey; granddaughters, Clarissa (Elijah Jensen) Casey, Ariana (Roger) Estelle; her great grandchildren, Roger and Oliver Estelle; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, several of which were born on her birthday, which really tickled her. She is also survived by cousins.
