The family will receive friends for a visitation at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, with funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Jeff Reed of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Round Mound Cemetery in Hamby, TX.
Nancy Pauline Cone was born in Abilene, Texas to George and Georgia Katherine Grantham on August 10, 2023. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1956. Nancy later took some courses in business at Abilene Christian University and Hardin Simmons University. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family whenever possible, Nancy will be truly missed by her friends and family.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Georgia Katherine Grantham and husband, Charles Cone.
Nancy is survived by her son, Jimmy Cone and wife Estrellita of Abilene, TX and several cousins; brother-in-law, Dale Cone and sister-in-law Betty Cone.
