In keeping with her wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal rescue so that her spirit of caring for animals may continue.
Diane was born and raised in View, Texas, to Erwin Milton Galle and Iva Ruth (Weese) Galle on June 28, 1959. She married her devoted husband, Jody, on September 18, 1992. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a fiercely loyal friend. Diane was known as a caretaker who would go out of her way to help anyone—or any animal—in need. She had a deep passion for animals of all kinds and was often the first person you would call when an animal needed a home. Those close to her often received Facebook updates and photos of her Elliott, whom she bottle-fed from the time he was a fawn.
Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jody Wittie; her father, Erwin Milton Galle; her mother, Iva Ruth (Weese) Galle; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Diane is survived by her three brothers, Charles Galle, Mike Galle, and Kenny Galle, and their families; her two children, Christy (Clouse) Stokes and Cody Clouse and his wife, Amanda Clouse; and three grandchildren, who called her Nana: Gabby Stokes, Jaden Stokes, and Leah (Clouse) Bryan and her husband, Garrett Bryan.
Diane will be truly missed and fondly remembered for her generous heart.
