Tami was born in Harrisburg, PA and lived in the greater Harrisburg area until being a military spouse took her to North Carolina, Alaska, then Abilene, TX where she settled in 2001.
She stayed at home with her children while running a nail salon out of her house. She later went to cosmetology school and worked at a barber shop. Her final career was working at Joann’s fabric and Hobby Lobby which was perfect for her as she was an avid crafter and sewist. Her fabric collection was quite extensive. She also had a love for cats and no cat would ever leave her house hungry. To her there was no such thing as a stray cat.
She was a mother to 3 children: Sean Riley married to Samantha Riley of Aledo, Mathew Riley married to Allison Riley of Abilene, and Jennifer Riley of Abilene. She was a grandmother to Charlotte Scott, Harrison Reeder, Kylin Riley, Elizabeth Riley, and Kamryn Riley.
She is survived by sister Traci Tolbert of Pennsylvania, brother Richard Baker of Pennsylvania, and sister Teri Olin of Florida. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Wike of Harrisburg, PA.
