

Peacefully passed away with family at her side at Billings Court Manor, Burlington on February 19, 2009. Alice was born June 21, 1920, at Toronto, daughter of Thomas Taylor and Beatrice Rendle (Plymouth, UK).
Predeceased by her husband Leslie A. Duby (1979), her sisters: Barbara Ware (1951), Esther Taylor (2002), Beatrice Roy (2006), and her son Thomas (1947). Her life is celebrated by her family, Laurie Duby (Mary-Lou), Lesley Anne Paterson (Michie), Barbara Funk (Jim), George Ware (Gloria), James Ware (Barbara), and nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Alice was a longtime member of St. Alban's Anglican Church, Acton: over 70 years with the choir, Guild member, Treasurer, Lay Delegate to Synod, Lay Reader
and Chalice Bearer and Order of Niagara Recipient.
She worked variously for Mason Knitting, Woolcombing, Beardmore's, Baxter Laboratories, H.K.Porter, Bank of Montreal, Mackenzie and Chapman Legal Office.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at St. Alban-the-Martyr Anglican Church, 19 St. Alban’s Drive, Acton
on Saturday, February 28th from 1:00 o’clock until 2:00 o’clock, at which time the funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Canon J. Mark Tiller. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Alban-the-Martyr Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
