Tony was residing at Caressant Care, Fergus, Ontario, where he passed away surrounded by his family, at the age of 93. Tony was predeceased by his wife of almost 36 years, Maria Klein (1988), whom he married in October 1952 at Churchill Community Church, Acton, Ontario. Prior to his work at the Tannery, and upon his arrival in Canada, he worked as a farm labourer in Fergus, Ontario.
