Anthony (Tony) Van Dam

We say goodbye to a loved and loving husband, father and Opa. Tony passed away at home on November 17, 2008 in his 87th year. He was the beloved husband of Mary for 63 years and the loving father of Bill (Pat), Pete (Diana), the late Tony, Janet (John), John, and daughter-in-law Hennie.

Cherished Opa to Wendy (Bill), Tony, Tony (Christine), John (Anna), Chris, Nathan (Paula), Katherine (Rob), Eileen (Adam), great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He is survived by his sister Francien (Ryn) sisters-in-law Margaret, Jo, Aart and Dirkje and was predeceased by his brothers Jan and Ies in Holland. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Minc and Nurse Ewa for their superb care.

The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Thursday, November 20th , 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the “Shoemaker Chapel” by The Rev. Canon J. Mark Tiller on Friday at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery
