He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Vyse (1970) and the much loved father of Linda and her husband Joe MacDonald and Donald.
Art was a doting grandfather to Josh. He is survived by his siblings: Ron and his wife Annie, Evelyn and her husband Bert Rodgers, Lorne and his late wife Carol and Margaret and her late husband Roy Hall. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Thursday, December 4th, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Keith Hillier
at Churchhill Community Church (Churchill Road at Halton/Erin Town Line) on Friday, December 5th at one o’clock.
The interment will follow at Churchill Cemetery. The family would appreciate remembrances to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity of your choice.
