

The family sadly announces Doug’s sudden passing on Monday, November 3rd, 2008 in his 58th year.
He was the loving husband and best friend of Susan Drysdale and the dearly loved father of
son, Dale (Stacey) and daughter, Julie (Brad).
Doug was a proud and doting grandfather to his little man, Curtis.
He is survived by his mother, Willa Grace Hewitt, mother-in-law, Anne Drysdale, sister, Debbie Hewitt (Shane), brothers-in-law, Philip Drysdale (Christine) and Larry Drysdale (Jackie), sisters-in-law, Dianne Preston and Lori Collins.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and his beloved beagle, Sadie.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home “Shoemaker Chapel”, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Wednesday, November 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Friends are invited to meet the family at Trinity United Church, 70 Mill Street East, Acton, on Thursday, November 6th, at one o’clock, at which time the funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Canon J. Mark Tiller.
Cremation will be followed by interment at Churchill Cemetery.
