Flora Lillian Barber

Flora Lillian Barber (née McIsaac) passed away suddenly on March 12, 2026, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Roy Bruce Barber (2004). Loving mother of Karen Swan (Ken), and Kim Smith (John). Cherished grandma to Shalyn Swan (Charles), Creed Swan (Katie), Michael Smith (Emily) and Gordon Smith. Great Grandma to Jaden, Maelle, Nikolaas and Bexley.

Flora, the daughter of the late Allen James and Florence Lillian (nee Troup) survived by her siblings, Ruth Rippon (Mike), Don McIsaac (Carol), and Ron McIsaac. Predeceased by her siblings James (the late Gladys), Frank “Sandy”, Gladys Vyse (Herb), Jennetta Harris (Tom), Allen McIsaac, Mac McIsaac (Gloria), Annie Coleman (Jack), John McIsaac, Leroy McIsaac (Theresa). Flora will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Flora's greatest passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to travel with her family and friends. Flora was an avid Fiddle player with the Puslinch and Waterdown Fiddlers groups, a lifelong member of Knox Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed helping with the strawberry socials.

Visitation will be held at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. East, Acton, ON, L7J1H4, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment Fairview Cemetery, Acton.
