Howie passed away peacefully at Georgetown Hospital on January 27, 2026 at the age of 69 following his battle with cancer.
Howie was the loving husband to Brenda (Francis).
Loving father to Matthew and wife Chelsey (Crotty), Michael and wife Kerrie (Dudzik), Shannon and husband Paul Carletti and Tyler (TJ).
Loving Grandpa to Madison, Violet, Olivia, Nicholas and Emma.
Beloved son to (late) John and Mary (Capstick) MacLennan and brother to Helen Crocker.
Howie enjoyed his career as a long distance and local truck driver, almost as much as the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved and battled for his time with his children and grandchildren.
Howie's wish was for Cremation, with a Celebration of Life for family and friends at a later date.
