

She was the loving mother of Ann, Gord and Kathy and was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) (1984).
Grandmother of Gord’s children, Melissa and the late Travis (2000) and Ann’s children, Whitney, Zachary, Harrison and Nadine.
Great Granny to Melissa and Dave’s children, Curtis and Emma.
She was predeceased by her brother Jack Cleghorn (2009) and is survived by her sister, Mary and her husband Jim Telford of Peterborough and Jack’s wife, Evelyn, of Guelph, as well a large circle of family and friends.
Margaret was a retired school teacher (Brookville Public School) and a long-time member and Representative Elder of Knox Presbyterian Church in Acton. She was also a member of the Daughters of Knox, a Women’s Missionary Society group. She enjoyed all types of musical entertainment, curling, and was a charter member of the Halton Hills Quilter’s Guild.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home , 55 Mill Street East, Acton, on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service to Celebrate Margaret’s Life will be conducted by the Rev. Pieter van Harten at Knox Presbyterian Church (44 Main Street North at Knox Avenue) Acton on Thursday at eleven o’clock
The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery (Acton).
