Soletta Cunsolo

August 4, 1921 ~ February 29, 2016

Passed away peacefully on February 29, 2016 at the great age of 94 years. Greatly missed by her family; siblings Assunta, Maria, Carmela(Francesco) and Salvatore (Ines), her many nieces and nephews and their families. Soletta was born in Serra San Bruno, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1953. Soletta was a devoted Parishioner of St. Joseph Patron Of Canada Parish and was a long-time member of the Catholic Women’s League. Soletta was known for her beautiful gardens. Soletta has reunited with her husband Bruno (1991) and her many Brothers and sister.

The family will receive friends for visitation at MacKinnon Family Funeral home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. (prayers will take place at 8:45 p.m.). A Funeral mass for Soletta will take place at St. Joseph, Patron of Canada Parish, 64 Church Street East, Acton on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Marymount Catholic Cemetery, 5400 Side Rd 6, Guelph, ON N1H 6J2. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul, Acton Chapter or to the Acton Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
