Theresa Lorenz

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of our Mother Theresa Mary Lorenz on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 in Guelph. Loving wife and best friend to Franz, who sadly left us far too soon. Loving and proud Mother to Michelle Singh (Sean), Chris Lorenz (Megan), Georgia and Dakota (predeceased).

The best Pug Grandma to Charlie, Willie, Gracie, Abby, Mack, Maeby, Piglet and Lily. She will be missed by her honorary grand children, Nicholas Freiheit (Jess), Alexis Freiheit (Srdjan), Kirsten Pusateri, Nicholas Araujo and Tatiana Lorenz. Theresa adored her honorary great grandchildren, Issac, Navy, Behr and Jovan. She loved seeing pictures on Facebook and you could always count on a comment from her.

Theresa is predeceased by her parents Alfred and Josephine Pusateri. Theresa will be missed by all of her friends and the family she held dear.

Theresa endeared herself to everyone she met. She was kind and generous beyond measure and loved with her whole heart. Theresa had a passion for cooking and baking and was always game to try something new in the kitchen. She loved to entertain and enjoyed her time in the garden and loved being out in the sunshine. She loved music and often had it blaring in the background when you called and could be heard yelling "hey google, stop". She and Franz were avid golfers and loved their adventures together.

She struggled with her mobility in recent years, but had newfound freedom in recent weeks as she navigated the route to Starbucks for her coffee fix and Longo's for plant runs in her new purple electric wheelchair.

Theresa called Chartwell home at the Royal on Gordon for the last 2 years of her life. She made some wonderful friends there and was very active in social events and activities and found a love for Bingo and especially winning. She was described by many as the bright light at the residence and her passing has been felt by many.

Mom, you will be missed more than you know, but we know in our hearts that you are with Dad dancing in heaven and stuffing those 6 pugs up there full of treats!

Private cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the Singh residence 127 Jolliffe Avenue, Rockwood on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 12 noon.
